Greg Clark MP (Secretary of State for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy) formally announced the Future Biomanufacturing Research Hub as part of a visit to the Manchester Institute of Biotechnology where he was involved in the launch of the Greater Manchester Local Industrial Strategy. The event was attended by Sir Richard Leese (Leader of Manchester City Council), Andy Burnham (Mayor of Greater Manchester), Mike Blackburn (Chairman of Greater Manchester Local Enterprise Partnership) and Nancy Rothwell (President and Vice-Chancellor of the University of Manchester).
