The Future BRH is currently advertising for two Research Fellow positions in the areas of metabolic engineering and / or sustainable process engineering for biomanufacturing.
The Research Fellows will join an expert Future BRH research team that provides an interdisciplinary resource supporting a mix of innovative Platform Research and Grand Challenge projects in two complementary research themes “Automated and integrated biocatalyst engineering for biomanufacturing” and “Realising the value of industrial biotechnology at scale”.
Specifically these roles will support the Grand Challenge research theme of “Realising the value of industrial biotechnology at scale”, and will work across the research platforms to enable early scale-up fermentation to address bioproduction challenges. The roles will also include the development and characterisation of sustainable processes involving fermentation science. Interests in techno-economic analysis, life cycle assessment of new sustainable biomanufacturing processes, and/or downstream processing would also be an advantage.
Application deadline is 17 June 2021. For more details and to apply see the job advert.
